 Donations and Contributions

We are a not-for-profit public charity and depend on your generosity and desire to help make a difference in the world. OEDSI provides funds for all projects and internships from the support of public donations and private, federal and public grants. Primarily, the costs associated with the projects will not be absorbed by the schools that become involved or the scientific organizations that provide OEDSI access to their projects as long as we are able to secure adequate funding.

This is a great gift to give for the holidays, a special occasion or birthday. Get your family involved by contributing to a worthwhile organization in a way that can increase your familiy's education and awareness about ways that people are working around the world to protect the environment for our future generations.

Donate to our new project in the Galapagos!

• OEDSI can only provide its services to the Galapagos with adequate funding
• OEDSI can only remain autonomous and successfully build its program for the Galapagos if it receives financial support from public contributions that come from individuals concerned with the current state of the Galapagos and who want to make a difference in a real and tangible way
• OEDSI will put your donations immediately into the hands of the community through a long-term investment of providing training, facilitation, consultation and support to create an education system in the Galapagos that can sustain current and future generations

• You can ask for a financial report anytime you are interested in seeing how your money is being used.
• You will be sent a copy of OEDSI’s annual report at your request or you can view it online here

Become a supporting contributor on our web site:
As a supporting contributor your name or company name will be listed on our web site for the year that your contribution is made. Anonymity can be requested.

Patron - up to $150
Steward - $150 and up
Mentor - $500 and up
Honorary Citizen - $1,000 and above

Ways that Honorary Citizens can personalize their contribution:

• Have your name placed in our contributor section of published education materials for a contribution of $5,000
• Have one of OEDSI’s Program Levels named in your honor for a contribution of $10,000
• Have a section of OEDSI’s program named in your honor for a contribution of $20,000

US Tax Payers
The Organization is a recognized public charity pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code therefore all cash contributions are tax deductible.
